Sr Python Engineer

Our client is a software company that provides services to many industries, including financial services, insurance, banking, software development, and others. They are headquartered in Atlanta, USA and having branch offices at Canada, Argentina and India.

You will lead projects, manage end-to-end delivery, and collaborate closely with our business analytics team to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Strong Python development skills are essential, with experience in DevOps and CI/CD required. Knowledge of machine learning and AI is a plus, as it can contribute to our cutting-edge projects.

Contract Type: Contractor - Long-term. Full time. EST and MST time zones

Requisitos:

• Upper-intermediate or Advanced English level (written/spoken)
• +7 years of exp. with Python.
• Extensive exp. in developing and maintaining scalable applications using Python
• Proficiency in Python best practices, design patterns, and performance optimization
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and their application in Python projects
• Experience with frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
• Proficiency with Git and GitOps workflows
• Solid grasp of CI/CD principles and experience with related tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills, proactive attitude, and ability to take ownership of projects from conception to delivery
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience deploying ML/AI applications in production environments
• Understanding of AI development frameworks such as Langchain
• Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS
• Knowledge of Snowflake, MongoDB, and SQL
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD)
